I have some great ideas in store for you here. There are so many crafts I've been wanting to experiment with and just haven't made the time. I'm going to start making the time now! Some of the crafts I've been playing with include needle felting, stained glass, jewelry, botanical printing/dying, soap making, basketry, wreaths, linocut printing... I'd better stop there! I don't want to overwhelm you with my ideas, let's just say it'll be fun! Although some crafts will be very simple and require only a few basic materials, I also plan to introduce you to more involved crafts - but ones that you can do without needing a ton of up-front equipment. Stained glass, for instance, can be done with very little equipment if you limit yourself to certain types of designs, for instance. If you limit yourself to straight line designs, all you really need is a glass cutter, a soldiering iron, and some sandpaper. Who wouldn't want a custom-made piece of glass art for their window? Ideas and tutorials of all sorts will be coming soon!

Crafting:I've yet to meet a craft I don't like and don't feel the need to master. It's honestly kind of a problem! Ha ha. We joke in my family about my 4,329 hobbies... and counting. You don't have to be an expert to make a wonderful gift; you just have to be willing to let yourself make a few mistakes along the way. Hopefully, though, my tutorials can help you avoid many of the basic mistakes and get right to making amazing! ArchivesCategories |
