Here is a delicious treat! Our "fruit first" peach pie spread (which I cannot legally call a jam because it has too much fruit in it!!) is like heaven in a jar. The fresh peach flavor is striking and the gentle warmth of the spices is like having peach pie on your toast (or biscuit or scone or whatever other vehicle you use to consume jams and jellies).
This recipe has more fruit than sugar in it, which makes it extra fruity and flavorful, but still has enough sugar in it to be beautiful, sparkling, and delicious. There are generous pieces of fruit in the spread and the hint of cinnamon and nutmeg really makes it special. The peaches in this spread are from our own trees and are spray free!

Ingredients: peaches, sugar, lemon juice, low methoxyl citrus pectin, cinnamon, nutmeg, monocalcium phosphate (activates pectin).
