This packet will help you make the best meatloaf around in a jiffy! Use a packet to make on 1 lb meatloaf adding only one egg, a little milk, and some ketchup. Produces a flavorful meatloaf with a wonderful moist texture, even when using 93% lean meat. Bakes to perfection in less than an hour. The added bonus? This meatloaf mix has very little salt in it. You can always add more, but it sure is nice to be able to have a meatloaf from a mix that isn't too salty.
Each packet contains three pouches to make three one pound meatloaves.
Ingredients: bread crumbs (wheat flour, sugar or dextrose, yeast, salt), onion, oregano, salt, garlic, black pepper. Additional ingredients required: egg, milk, and ketchup.
Package Directions: Add one seasoning packet to one pound of ground beef (preferably 93% lean). Add one egg, 1/4 cup milk, and 1/4 cup ketchup. Mix thoroughly. Shape into a loaf approximately 2 - 2 1/2 inches tall. Cover with ketchup, tomato paste, or a mixture of the two. Bake at 350˚ for 40 minutes or until cooked through. If your family is accustomed to salty foods, you will want to add more salt to your mixture, start with 1/4 to 1/2 tsp.
